OPEN POSITION: Print Shop Production Employee

We are a busy reprographics (blueprint) shop in Carlsbad looking to bring on a full-time production employee for large format and small format printing. We are a family owned/operated small business, serving North County for decades; we have a solid team, and everyone works together to get jobs out the door. Our shop is fast-paced and we need someone with a good attitude who is detail-oriented, quick on their feet, and a team player.

Details:

• Location: Carlsbad (92011)
• Position: Full-time (40 hours/week, no weekends) with Benefits
• Hourly Wage: $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience
• Pay Schedule: twice/month via ACH (7th and 22nd)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (Note: we may return to closing the shop at 5:00pm at some point, and would adjust employee schedules as needed)

DUTIES: LARGE FORMAT & SMALL FORMAT PRINTING

• Print from digital file or copy/scan from paper original (large format);
• Reports (small format) from digital and paper, scanning
• Review order specs/details to ensure accuracy
• Customer Service: connect with customers by phone, email, front counter as needed
• Manage client due times
• Tally work orders, referring to our codes and prices
• Machinery used: HP8200, HP5200, Smartstream, Adobe Reader/Editor, internet, email, etc.
• General computer and internet (file downloading/etc) proficiency required
• Fulfill jobs on your own, and help others when larger jobs arrive
• Be a team player, and work well with others (we are a small shop)
